1. MØ - Waste of Time

So, we’ve been pretty quiet recently. We have been graduating and holidaying and working and all that life stuff. Anyway, here is a new video from Danish, glitch pop singer-songwriter, MØ.

  3. An Oddity - Live Vid (Part 1)

Sorry we’ve been away so long, we’ve just been finishing our degrees and such. This is also the product of our last few weeks, a new band that 2 members of Sweet Chariot and our dear buddy Richard Deux have started.

    Enjoy this sensual video!

For Fans Of: Weezer, Nirvana, Hole, Sex-Bob-Omb

    For fans of: Superfood, Peace

  6. Laura Veirs - Sun Song

New single from Laura Veirs, this is exciting! She recorded the new album whilst pregnant with her 2nd child, the album features the likes of KD Lang and apparently the content has become a little bit darker. This first single features backing vocals from Neko Case (from The New Pornographers).

The album Warp and Weft will be out on 19th August via Bella Union.

For Fans Of: Emmy The Great, Vashti Bunyan

  7. Sourpatch - You Knew

Latest single from my favourite noise pop band. They sound like summer. There are only 77 copies of the vinyl available so catch ‘em whilst you can.

  9. Suburban Campers EP

By chance these San Diego chaps followed our tumblr and I dived in to take a listen, and I was pleased. The EP is 5 songs long and recorded on a tape recorder, the lo-fi quality perfectly captures their slow surf sound. It’s all chill vibes and raw vocals people, take a chance and take a listen!

Stand out track: cool me down

You can download the EP from their Bandcamp.

For Fans Of: Pixies, Sonic Youth

  10. Wild Nothing - A Dancing Shell

The latest single by Wild Nothing has been released with an excellent EP called Empty Estate. The 7-song EP was recorded in Brooklyn in January. The artwork is cool too.

For Fans Of: Big Troubles, Real Estate

  11. Wolf Alice - Bros

This video has taught me 2 important lessons; 1) That dancing is fun, 2) dancing in front of a green screen is a lot more fun.

    For Fans Of: Peace, Warpaint

  12. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - Better Days

New song from the wonderful band that brought you Home back in 2010. Their new self-titled album will be available on July 23rd, and I am mighty excited. It will no doubt be a perfect summery soundtrack.

For fans of: Of Monsters and Men, The Lumineers

  13. Twist - Where To Lie

Musicians from Toronto sure are elusive, all I know about Twist is that it is composed of two people; Laura Hermiston with Brian Borcherdt. I guess it doesn’t really matter because the music is beautiful enough to stand alone. You can download this minimal pop wonder for free through soundcloud.

For Fans Of: SoKo, Alessi’s Ark

  14. Weaves - Hulahoop

Strange noise-pop from Toronto. This is all the information I could find on the band, but the track is a free download, so who needs to know more?!

For Fans Of: Beck, that dog

  15. Money - Bluebell Fields

This is a feast for the senses…

The Mancunian band have recently signed to Bella Union and will be releasing their debut album in late summer. They describe their genre as Dystopian Choral, but don’t let that put strange images in your mind, the music is truly beautiful.

For Fans Of: Doves, The War On Drugs
